AUTOGRAPHY

PHOTOGRAPHY + ASC COMMUNITY PROJECT FOR ADULTS

AUTOGRAPHY is a project designed and delivered by Anna Farley.

Currently in its 4th iteration, this project believes that everyone on the autism spectrum has the right to be happy.

Hosted by Photofusion, participants work with professional teachers, ASC (autism spectrum Condition) experts, mentors and artists to achieve these key aims:

·      To establish a supportive peer group through weekly meetings with fellow ASC adults in an accessible and non-judgemental space.

·      To learn new skills and techniques for managing elements of ASC, including self-care and wellbeing skills.

·      To work together to make photographic work that will help us and the public understand our unique experiences of ASC

·      To work together to programme an ASC awareness festival at photofusion for members of the public to come and gain a greater awareness of ASC conditions.
